Lol the gameplay is so simple?

Enough said

Amazing, bittersweet and as memorable as Braid

I loved the game.
I've had times where I've felt alone in life I've struggled with depression and solitude but not on this scale of the character. The gameplay tied in well with the story, as did the visual effects.

I can see you put alot of thought into this game. Its good to have an interactive story driven experience, that tugs at the heart strings once in a while. This is the best Puzzle Game of this sort I've played since Braid.

The music created the a bittersweet atmosphere of living in a memory, of having lost something...

Brilliant hommage games that will never die

I've always loved Mario games and its good to see one of the few fan games that does the franchise justice.

You have skillfully created a brilliant platformer that draws on elements from super mario bros., Super Mario 64, super mario sunshine and even Super Mario Galaxy.
Watching Mario perform fighting gymnastics in the cutscenes with amazing.

I loved the variety of objects, worlds and secret passages. The music and visuals alone would make this game worth playing.
Every challenge you've placed into the game, is unique, enjoyable and rarely frustrating (Getting the last shine drove me mad!)
BTW: What physics engine did you use? The pixel perfect collision system, combined with rotating platforms with very clever.

The only disadvantage of this game is that its incredibly addictive. Last year I spent over a week hunting down every shine and star coin.

One of the best, top down shooters out there

What can I say:
-great isometric graphics
-great sound
-A wide variety of cool weapons, equipment and enemies
-Explosions everywhere
-Clever A.I. navigation on a mass scale

Its always nice to have to get an adrenaline rush, from diving into a fast paced, easily acessible run and gun game such as this.

BTW Seant Cooper, thankyou for the programming tips that you made available at your website. Your implementation of BFS navigation is certainly ingenious, and will probably inspire flash developers for decades to come.

Innovative, accessible and addictive

This is a highly polished survival game. It has:

- A nice difficulty curve: enemies get tougher, bigger and more numerous
the longer the player survives.
The game is never too easy nor ridiculously hard.
- Well designed visuals: Giving a retro feel with a modern twist.
- Addictive and non-monotonous gameplay: I liked the variety of upgrades available from the tech tree. Also I think you got the risk/reward balance with pixel items scattered by enemies as you killed them. Spray, dodge and pray FTW.

All up, I loved the run and gun pixel fest, and I hope to see more such games in the future...

-My interests lie in programming, graphics design, web development, artificial intellegence and of course gaming. -My favourite games include Mario platformers, portal, halo and half life 2. -I'm currently working on an isometric shooter:droid grids
